Hey There!

My name is Kevin Greene, and I’m the founder of Tap Off Images. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started playing piano and trumpet when I was 5 years old and eventually switched to drums in high school, which is where I fell in love with the energy of the field and developed a deep passion for marching band. I went on to march with the world-famous Cold Steel Drummers at North Carolina A&T State University, served as a percussionist in the U.S. Marine Corps Fleet Band out in San Diego, and also spent 6 years as a middle and high school band director, so I know what it means to live the “band life.” I got my start in photography in college by taking pictures for the band while I was at A&T. Since then, my love for being behind the camera has grown into a full time career. Through every beat and every performance, I’ve loved capturing the rhythm, energy, and pride that has made me who I am today. Tap Off Images is my way of returning to where it all started and using my love for photography and the marching arts to give back to the community that quite literally changed my life.
