The What

The Tap Off Images Performing Arts Initiative is a community-driven program dedicated to providing free professional Media Days to performing arts programs that may not otherwise have the budget to invest in high-quality photography and visual marketing. Through partnerships with businesses, organizations, and community leaders, we provide schools with professional student portraits, staff headshots, senior banner designs, performance photography, senior portrait photography, and marketing imagery that celebrates students while helping programs recruit, fundraise, and tell their story. Our mission is simple: every performing arts program deserves to be seen, celebrated, and remembered.

The Why

For many of us, some of life's most unforgettable memories were created through the performing arts. We remember the excitement of Friday night football games, standing on a competition floor, taking the stage for a concert or musical, or hearing the applause after months of hard work. Whether it was band, orchestra, choir, theater, dance, or color guard, those experiences taught us confidence, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and perseverance. Unfortunately, many schools simply don't have the financial resources to create the professional media that preserves those memories and showcases the incredible work happening within their programs. We believe every student deserves to have their achievements documented with the same pride and professionalism as any other school activity—regardless of budget. This is an opportunity to show these incredible students that their hard work matters.

The How

Every $1,500 invested through the Tap Off Images Performing Arts Initiative sponsors one school's complete Media Day. Corporate partners, community organizations, and individual supporters can choose to make an impact at the community, regional, or statewide level, directly funding Media Days for deserving schools throughout North and South Carolina. In return, sponsors receive meaningful community recognition while making a lasting investment in the next generation of performers, educators, and leaders. Together, we're removing financial barriers, strengthening performing arts programs, and ensuring that the moments students work so hard to achieve are preserved for years to come.
